Brix, as evidenced by its very name, is a wine oriented dining experience. The list is medium sized at 320 selections and focuses on the wine world as a whole offering various wines from most of the major regions. As one of the pioneers of the small plates ‘revolution’ in Vancouver, our original focus was to match our wine list with our menu so we incorporated a large and varied wine by the glass and half liter program. It is this aspect of our wine program, combined good value, for which we are best known.

Brix is committed to every aspect of wine service with several kinds of upscale glassware from Reidel, red and white wine flights, varied decanters, and assorted wine paraphernalia. We store our wine in a temperature controlled room and we insert a Wine Shield into every bottle we open to pour by the glass to ensure longevity and consistency. Education is also a high priority and we have formed a regular tasting group with our staff in an effort to support the wine program.

Brix hosts several winemaker’s dinners each year as well as tastings for wine agencies.

There are also Table d’Hote menus available with wine pairings that are frequently selected by tables of 8 or more. We are very proud to highlight a broad selection of wines from British Columbia and they are usually front and centre in our wine dinners & events.
