How to Make Pork Fried Rice: The Steps You Need to Take

Can you already imagine how tasty this dish is? Well, you no longer have to imagine! You can taste it for real after cooking so let us get started!

Step #1: Prepare the cauliflower.

Remove all greens and wash the cauliflower thoroughly. Using a paper towel, pat it dry. Afterward, cut the head into four sections.

Step #2: Grate the cauliflower.

Using a box cheese grated with medium-sized holes, grate the cauliflower into smaller pieces. You can use a food processor with the grater attachment to make the process easier.

Pro Tip
You can place the grated cauliflower on top of a paper towel and squeeze it dry. In this way, you can prevent the dish from being soggy.

Step #3: Cook the eggs.

Place pan over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of vegetable oil to the pan. In a bowl, whisk the egg and egg whites together and cook scrambled eggs. Remove the eggs from the pan and set it aside.

Step #4: Cook the pork.

Add another tablespoon of oil in the pan and add the tenderloin strips. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until the meat has turned brown. Remove the pork from the pan and set it aside.

Pro Tip
If the pork strips are too many, you can cook it in batches, or you can use a larger pan in cooking it.

Step #5: Cook the cauliflower rice.

After removing the pork, add the remaining vegetable oil to an already hot pan. Place the broccoli, ginger, garlic, green onion, white onion, cabbage, and cauliflower into the pan. Add ¼ cup of water. Cook the veggies for 5 to 6 minutes until the vegetables have softened.

Pro Tip
  • You can cover the pan with a lid, so the cauliflower becomes tender.
  • You can also add other vegetables that you like.

Step #6: Add the rest of the ingredients.

Once the cauliflower is already tender (you can check its tenderness with the use of fork), add the soy sauce, egg, and pork strips into the rice. Mix everything well. You can cook the rice for 1 minute so the flavors will blend properly.

Step #7: Serve.
